  • Chemical thrusters for on-orbit agility – 4 to 12 thrusters
  • Includes tank and line heaters and thermostats

Why pump-fed propulsion?

  • Low tank pressure reducing operational risks
  • Low inert mass for higher performance
  • Enables control modes not available in a pressure-fed system:
    • Operate at high pressure/high thrust/high Isp for fast, efficient orbital transfers
    • Operate at low pressure/low thrust and at minimum impulse bits for precise RCS control (such as for RPO/RPOD)
  • Bidirectional displacement pumps for propellant management, such as refueling
  • Enables monoprop system to have similar/better performance than conventional biprop system
